Welcome to the Atlantic Provinces Academy of Mediators & Arbitrators

Formed in 2020, APAMA is the Atlantic Region Chapter of the Canadian Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, the foremost professional association for experienced mediators and arbitrators practicing in the field of civil & commercial conflict resolution. All Atlantic Region Academy members are distinguished by their commitment to excellence in the field of dispute resolution, and are among the most in-demand ADR practitioners in the province.

Membership is by invitation only - based on peer nominations and due diligence research with local litigators, under the guidance of our local committee. All nominees are thoroughly vetted to ensure they meet our ADR practice requirements before being confirmed.

The Academy's websites allow legal staff to expedite the scheduling of appointments - most Academy members across Canada and US post their Available Dates Calendars online, allowing more than 8000 law firms to expedite the scheduling of over 90,000 cases annually.
